On 15 February 2026, the Law of Ukraine "On the Fundamental Principles of Housing Policy" entered into force, simultaneously repealing the Housing Code of Ukraine (with the exception of certain provisions that will remain in effect for a transitional period, which we address below).
The development and implementation of this Law is intended to result in the establishment of a new legislative framework governing the fundamental principles of state housing policy.
