Easter is a celebration of victory: life over death, truth over lies, light over darkness. These are not solely Christian values but universal principles, felt with particular force today, as Ukraine continues to defend them at the greatest cost.
This year, millions of Ukrainians mark the holiday with prayers for their loved ones, for those who defend the country, and for a just peace. And despite everything, we hold on, because it is this belief in goodness, in dignity, in truth that gives us the strength to endure and not surrender.
