• Legal and environmental review of planned or ongoing activities; identification of regulatory, environmental and related financial risks; review of permits and other environmental documentation; identification of compliance gaps and development of practical recommendations and action plans.

• Legal support in obtaining environmental permits and other authorisations and in environmental impact assessment (EIA) and strategic environmental assessment (SEA) procedures. Experience includes legal support for more than 189 EIA and SEA procedures, as well as comprehensive support for investment and industrial projects involving significant environmental risks.

• Legal support at various stages of financing, including collection and review of documentation, assistance with preparation and submission of the borrower’s financing application, assessment of project compliance with applicable environmental and social requirements, and monitoring compliance with relevant conditions throughout the financing period. Conducting ESDD, preparing ESDD Reports and ESAPs, conducting ESIA, and developing ESMPs.

• Comprehensive environmental support for businesses, environmental audits, preparation of permitting documentation, organisation of instrumental and laboratory studies, and coordination of the environmental and social aspects of industrial, energy and investment projects.

• Representation of businesses in communications with public authorities, local self-government bodies, regulatory and supervisory authorities, and the public; legal advice in preparation for and during inspections; protection of businesses’ rights during regulatory inspections; challenging decisions, actions and omissions of public officials; and representation of clients before courts.
