Proposals relating to change of renewable energy support scheme

Recently the Ministry of Energy and Environment Protection of Ukraine presented its proposals to the existing laws regulating the renewable energy sector (RES) in Ukraine. Such proposals are aimed at solving a number of economic and technical challenges for the entire energy sector.

Notably, many RES investors expressed their disapproval of the proposed changes which do not go in line with the ongoing negotiations with the State of Ukraine in connection with its financial commitments before RES producers.
