The EVERLEGAL team completed “Stop the Bleed” first aid training
At a time when we face the challenges of war on a daily basis, safety and readiness to act in critical situations are not merely additional skills — they are a civic responsibility. The EVERLEGAL team completed a training programme that primarily focused on the rapid assessment of a casualty’s condition using the MARCH algorithm under the TCCC protocol, which includes:
- control of massive (life-threatening) bleeding
- assessment of airway patency
- evaluation of breathing
- circulation control
- prevention of hypothermia

During the training, participants practised a wide range of hands-on skills, including the application of tourniquets and compression bandages, wound packing, placing an injured person in the recovery position, securing airway patency, and providing assistance in cases of secondary injuries (eye injuries, head trauma, burns, and limb fractures).
Training participant Iryna Kaidanovych shared her reflections:
“After the training, I realised the importance of the knowledge and skills we gained more than ever before. What I appreciated most was that it was not just theory, but a great deal of practical work, real-life examples, and live discussion. I hope this knowledge will never be needed in practice, but I now feel more confident should a critical situation arise.”
This training became part of an important shared initiative for us. The event had a charitable focus, as its purpose was to raise funds for the repair of medical vehicles operated by the SNAKE group of the International Legion of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, which evacuates wounded individuals from combat zones. We were pleased to support this cause and contribute to its implementation.
We believe that corporate social responsibility is not limited to policies or reports. Above all, it is demonstrated through real actions that save lives.

We sincerely thank the instructors, Volodymyr and Nataliia, for delivering a professional and meaningful training session. Special thanks go to our junior lawyer Valeriia Kasiar for the organisation and coordination of the training.
