Dmytro Trut, Of counsel at EVERLEGAL, has joined the UCCA Tax & Customs Board Committee.
The Tax & Customs Board brings together practitioners in tax and customs law and serves as a professional platform for the exchange of practical experience and the development of joint approaches to the application of tax and customs legislation, taking into account business practice and current regulatory developments.
Key areas of focus of the Tax & Customs Board include:
- Tax and customs regulation – sharing practical experience in applying tax and customs laws, analysing legislative changes, and developing joint positions on problematic issues.
- Tax and customs compliance – shaping approaches to internal control systems, tax risk management, and interaction with supervisory authorities.
- Support in audits and disputes – discussion of tax and customs audits, administrative and court appeals, and development of recommendations for business protection.
- Transfer pricing and international taxation – BEPS issues, controlled transactions, exchange of information, and taxation of cross-border transactions.
- Interaction with public authorities – participation in public consultations, preparation of proposals to improve legislation, and advocacy of the business community’s position.
- Educational and analytical initiatives – round tables, working meetings, preparation of practical guides, analytical materials, and recommendations for UACC members.
