In view of a global pandemic caused by COVID-19 at the beginning of 2020, many M&A transactions were put on hold or moving in a very cautious way. However, starting from the second half of 2020, many investors accepted new rules of the global crisis and continued their negotiations, which had some positive consequences for the M&A market.
