EVERLEGAL advised HarvEast, Ukrainian Agroholding

EVERLEGAL advised HarvEast on acquisition of Agro-Holding MC, Ukrainian agricultural business with assets in Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions. HarvEast manages 102 thou. hectares in Donetsk region. Agro-Holding MC cultivated 25 thou. hectares, thus the consolidated farmland of HarvEast currently equals to around 127 thou. Hectares, making it one of the most noticeable players in the agricultural sector in Ukraine. 

The transaction was one of the largest M&A deals in the agricultural sector in Ukraine. 

EVERLEGAL provided full transactional support to the client in connection with the deal, Among other things, we drafted and negotiated transactional documents (sale and purchase agreeements, surety agreeements, various Ukrainian security documents), assited with closing of the transaction in Cyrpus and advised on certain regulatory matters.
