EVERLEGAL advised UDP Renewables, Ukrainian renewables projects' developer

UDP Renewables on the sale of several solar power plants with a total capacity of 57.6 MW under development in the Kyiv region of Ukraine to Acciona Energy, a global leader in the renewables sector.

This deal represents one of the most noticeable and significant deals in the Ukrainian renewable energy sector to date. Particularly because it represents entrance of a major strategic investor in the Ukrainian energy market. 

EVERLEGAL provided full transactional and regulatory support to our client, UDP Renewables, in connection with the deal, starting from MoU and up to closing and certain matters of post-completion integration. Among other things, we managed the due diligence on the sell side for the client, drafted and negotiated transactional documents and advised on certain regulatory and merger clearance issues.
