On this special day, we celebrate the symbol of our statehood - the blue and yellow flag that reflects our history, soul and destiny. The blue color reflects the vastness of the sky, our dreams, which rise high like birds, determining the course of our development. The yellow color represents the fields of golden wheat that speak of our roots, our hard work and our hospitality.

The meaning of the Ukrainian flag today is much deeper. Nowadays, the combination of blue and yellow on our flag represents bravery, perseverance, the fight for freedom and the defense of democratic principles - the fight for the future of the world against evil intent.

Today we celebrate together our faith in Ukraine, a country with a rich heritage and a great future. May our flag always be raised high as a symbol of dignity, independence and aspiration for the best.
