WANTED: Associate for Corporate and M&A practice

EVERLEGAL is further expanding its Corporate and M&A practice and is looking for an experienced associate to join our Kyiv office.

Qualifications:

• Degree in law from a reputable Ukrainian university
• Foreign LL.M. is preferred
• 2+ years of professional experience at one of the Top-50 Ukrainian law firms
• Excellent command of English (including legal English) and Ukrainian is a MUST
• Excellent knowledge of civil and commercial law; previous experience in Corporate/M&A
• Strong knowledge of MS-Office, legal databases (Liga, etc.)

• Excellent analytical, legal writing and research skills
• High level of self-motivation and proactiveness
• Results-driven personality
• Confidence to interact directly with clients

Key responsibilities:

• Carrying out legal research and legal analysis
• Drafting legal opinions and memoranda, and transaction documents
• Contract work and negotiation
• Contribution to the team's business development efforts, including the preparation of legal alerts presentations
• Drafting, reviewing and revising contracts (e.g. land lease agreements, EPC contracts, land survey designs etc.)
• Advising on various real estate matters
• Participation in negotiations
• Performance of various legal ad hoc assignments delegated by senior associates and partners
