Dmytro Trut appointed Partner at EVERLEGAL
EVERLEGAL is pleased to announce the appointment of Dmytro Trut, Ph.D. Attorney-at-Law, Advocate, has joined the firm as a Partner. Dmytro leads the Tax Litigation practice and will also be part of the leadership team for the White-Collar Crime practice.
A few facts about Dmytro Trut:
- over 15 years of professional experience in dispute resolution, tax and customs disputes, and White-Collar Crime;
- represents Ukrainian and international companies, as well as their officers, in complex criminal cases, tax and customs disputes;
- over the course of his career, has handled cases and defended business interests with a combined value exceeding UAH 14 billion;
- has extensive experience advising companies in the agricultural, metallurgical, IT, automotive, chemical, and other sectors;
- his expertise has been recognised by leading international and Ukrainian rankings, including Chambers Europe, The Legal 500, Ukrainian Law Firms, and the Top 50 Law Firms of Ukraine;
- prior to joining EVERLEGAL, Dmytro worked at leading Ukrainian and international law firms and was part of the EU4PFM reform team.
In addition to his legal practice, Dmytro is the author of academic and professional publications, lectures on economic crimes at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and is a co-founder of the “Descendants of Sahaidachny” charitable foundation.
