EVERLEGAL represented FARMAK, the largest pharmaceutical company in Ukraine

EVERLEGAL represented Farmak in a dispute regarding the ownership rights on a building (around 1800 sq.m.) located in Kyiv.

For Farmak this case is very important as this building belonged to them since 90-ties, but it was illegally and mistakenly sold by local authorities during the privatization procedure. Farmak had a long story of claiming this building back to their ownership, the disputes were considered by administrative and economic courts in Ukraine. However, they could not get a positive result for years. 

At the time we started to work with Farmak, there was already a negative decision of the court of the first instance in a new process regarding vindication of the property. We analysed mistakes that were made before at the previous stages and developed a completely new defence strategy. Due to a new approach, we won the case in the court of appeal and now we are preparing for the trial in Supreme Court.
