EVERLEGAL acts as a legal partner to the Ukrainian clothing brand Bettter
We are pleased to announce that EVERLEGAL team started cooperation with Bettter - a Ukrainian clothing brand based on responsible consumption and recycling of raw materials!
EVERLEGAL provides legal support to Bettter in the trademark registration (TM) in Ukraine and the EU. In addition, our team provided comprehensive legal support regarding TM protection and risk minimization during the formal and qualification examination of TM.
This project is led by EVERLEGAL Partner Oleksandr Ruzhytskyi and Senior Associate Yuliia Tantsiura.
The legal support of the Bettter upcycle project is of special importance to us, as it is another contribution to our Sustainability direction.
Support for this project is another step towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, namely: GOAL 12. Responsible consumption and production.
It is also worth noting that the idea of the brand is based on the environmental problem of overproduction of clothing.
Bettter founder and former fashion director of Vogue Ukraine magazine, Yulia Pelipas, emphasizes:
"Fashion has ceased to serve people in terms of basic practicality and has led to unhealthy fascism and great environmental disaster."
Over the last few years, she has been thinking about making clothes to save the planet from overproduction, and came up with the idea of redesigning ready-made clothes. This is exactly what the Bettter brand is!
