EVERLEGAL Counsel Yuliia Tantsiiura spoke at the XVI Intellectual Property Law School
On 28–29 March, the XVI Intellectual Property Law School took place in Kyiv. The event was organised by the Kyiv branch of the Students' League Ukrainian Bar Association. Over two days, practitioners from leading law firms, representatives of public authorities and young lawyers discussed issues currently relevant to the field of intellectual property.
EVERLEGAL Counsel Yuliia Tantsiiura delivered a presentation on the topic “Protection against unfair competition: legal mechanisms for counteracting look-alike products and parasitic marketing”.
Yuliia analysed real case studies and explained how companies address unfair competitive practices.
Other topics included:
- trends in the case law of the Supreme Court in the field of intellectual property
- legal audit for technology and media companies
- copyright protection in the digital environment
- transformation of copyright in the context of generative AI
