EVERLEGAL supported the open conversation ‘On being human. What matters most’ with Metropolitan Borys Gudziak
The open conversation ‘On being human. What matters most’ was held in Kyiv with Metropolitan Borys Gudziak, President of UCU. The event was organised by the UCU Centre in Kyiv together with Starlight Media’s Facts of the Week programme. EVERLEGAL supported the event as a partner.
The conversation was moderated by journalist and TV producer Oxana Sokolova. UCU’s friends, partners and thought leaders discussed Ukraine’s experience of the twentieth century and the current war, unity in society, education, relations between Ukraine and Poland, and the country’s future.
“Victory is not only about preserving territories. For me, one aspect of it is the collapse of Russia, and no one can influence this more than Ukraine. But victory will also mean addressing the demographic issue, which will become one of our greatest challenges. Victory also means overcoming mutual grievances and preserving unity,” said Metropolitan Borys Gudziak.
We thank the UCU Centre in Kyiv and Facts of the Week for organising the event and giving us the opportunity to take part, and UNIT.City for hosting it.
