Law on effective management of property rights in the sphere of copyright – the issue of CMO's work is not fully resolved

On December 15, 2021, after a long heated public discussion, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading and in general the draft law № 5572 on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Effective Management of Property Rights of Copyright Holders and (or) Related Rights”. For this draft to enter into force, it must be signed by the President.
