Promotion in Dispute Resolution team

EVERLEGAL is pleased to announce the promotion of three members of the Dispute Resolution team:

• Oleksandr Demchuk, a former Senior Associate, to the position of Counsel.
• Vadym Baranivskiy, a former Associate, to the position of Senior Associate.
• Maryna Fomenko, a former Associate, to the position of Senior Associate.

Oleksandr has more than 9 years of professional legal experience in Dispute Resolution (Litigation & Arbitration), with a special focus on the Oil and Gas industry, Real Estate and Banking. 

“I am very excited about the development and growth of the firm in such a challenging time. As a counsel, I am going to further strengthen and develop our team in Real Estate, Construction and Agribusiness matters.
 
In wartime, our society faces new significant challenges related to compensation for the damage caused by the aggressor and the inevitable process of rebuilding our cities and villages. In my opinion, the sooner we start preparing for this, the better the result will be. 

I am convinced that we, as a company, and our team in particular, will exert every effort during this process to modify and change the real estate and construction industries for the good of the market and the entire Ukrainian population” - Oleksandr added.

Vadym focuses on dispute resolution and debt restructuring, credit relations, debt collection, enforcement proceedings, factoring operations, support for the sale of distressed assets, regulation of non-banking financial institutions and licensing procedures for financial services.

In the meantime, Vadym is going to continue to develop a Debt collection Practice with a focus on the specifics of the development of the financial sector of Ukraine in the current environment. 
Vadym also singles out mediation with the potential to go further and get a mediator qualification among the new attractive areas that are a priority for personal growth.

Maryna focuses her practice on Criminal Law and Procedure, specializing in the criminal procedure litigation and trials connected to economic and white-collar crimes, in-depth analytic of criminal issues. Maryna has 10 years of professional legal experience, gained over the years of her work in the prosecutor's office. 

“Only highly skilled coordination makes an effective defense in complicated criminal procedures possible. So that we may work together to deliver the greatest results for our clients, I am intending to concentrate my efforts in my new position on the growth of the Criminal Defence Practice and the team's ongoing professional development.

Protecting the interests of people and legal entities impacted by the armed aggression of the russia and the temporary annexation of a part of Ukrainian territory is also one of my current objectives. I plan to strengthen my contribution in this area” - Maryna added.
