EVERLEGAL acted as legal counsel to UDP Renewables in connection with the HUDZOVKA-SOLAR project
EVERLEGAL acted as a legal counsel to UDP Renewables, one of the leading RES project developers in Ukraine, in connection with the development and construction of 24.4 MW HUDZOVKA SES project in Odesa region, Ukraine.
HUDZOVKA SES project includes two solar power plants: “Hudsovka-Solar-1” and “Hudsovka-Solar-2”, - which the client together with its project partner Acciona Energy successfully commissioned on the 5th of November 2020.
EVERLEGAL provided full transactional and regulatory support to UDP Renewables in connection with the project, starting from MoU and up to closing as well as on the post-completion integration matters during formation of a joint venture with Acciona Energy.
Among other things, our lawyers carried out due diligence, drafted and negotiated transactional documents, and advised the client on various regulatory, financing and merger clearance matters. We have also supported our client in connection with further development, construction and commission of the project as well as project related financing, employment and regulatory matters.
Some important details about the HUDZOVKA SES project:
- The total investment involved in the project amounts up to € 21 million.
- The operation of HUDZOVKA SES will reduce CO2 emissions by up to 30,000 tonnes per year.
- The number of innovative modules can generate almost 33600 MW of electricity per year and provide power to more than 13000 households in Ukraine.
