EVERLEGAL acted as legal counsel to UDP Renewables in connection with the Terslav project
We are proud to share the news that EVERLEGAL acted as legal counsel to UDP Renewables in connection with the development and construction of a 20 MW Terslav solar power plant, which our client has successfully commissioned in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine on 6 May 2020.
EVERLEGAL provided UDP Renewables with comprehensive legal support in connection with the project. Our team carried out legal due diligence of the project under development; advised on mitigation of the identified risks; advised on the acquisition of the project for further development and construction of a solar power plant (including drafting and negotiating transactional documents and closing the transaction). In addition, we advised the client on various post-closing matters, including financing of the project as well as regulatory and employment issues.
Some important details about the Terslav project:
- Total amount of investments involved in the project is around EUR 15.5 million.
- Solar power plant "Terslav" covers an area of 28 hectares and is equipped with more than 91,000 solar panels, which will produce 23,275 MWh of electricity per year.
- Power plant will be able to supply energy to almost 9,000 households and will reduce CO2 emissions by up to 30,000 tons per year.
